I’m very excited to be part of the 2024 Bainbridge Island Studio Tour. As an amateur photographer throughout my life, capturing travel, family, and local events, my artistry flourished after my retirement to Kingston in 2018. The stunning landscapes and wildlife in the Pacific Northwest were inspirational. After winning first place for photography in the 2019 Edmonds Art Festival, I was inspired to offer my fine art landscape and abstract photography at numerous local art competitions, and festivals.

In an effort to widen my artistic boundaries, I have added a series called Ocean Dye, which appears to be abstract, but is simply close up photos of colorful boat hulls out of the water and being refurbished in the Port Townsend boatyard.

The beauty that surrounds us is endless, and my goal is to simply capture and share.
