SCUBA Diver Kathy Barrett draws inspiration from the mesmerizing beauty of the ocean and its unique inhabitants. Kiln formed and blown glass are a reflection of the life forms encountered during her numerous undersea dives. Kathy’s glass pieces are created by glass blowing, kiln forming or lampworking. Sometimes she will combine all three techniques in one piece.
