Majoring in the art of European Tailoring at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City decades ago, there was no sign of Polartec fleece in my future career. The possibility of recycled plastic pop bottles into cashmere-looking fabric was unknown, at least to me.

After years of designing on 7th Avenue and working in Asia and India, I moved from Manhattan to embrace the Pacific Northwest. Here I found a new lifestyle, and on Bainbridge Island, a community of artisans. I continue to design, produce, and sell clothing and accessories in the iconic land of fleece.

My customers also love the romantic look of my hats, scarves, and shawls in solids, florals, and plaids. The fabric is easy care and so comfortable. The designs are made to be understated and elegant.
