The Artists
William Fletcher & Taylor Waterhouse
Bronze sculpture & silver jewelry
A husband-and-wife team, both Bill and Taylor are lifelong artists that live and work from their home studio on Bainbridge Island.
Yabane Art – – Digital and Traditional Sculpture:
Bill Fletcher specializes in sculpture, 3D art and animation. Before starting his sculpting journey, Bill worked as an animator for Disney, Industrial Light & Magic and Valve Software. You might have seen his animation work in Hercules, The Mask or Half-life 2— or even at Tokyo DisneySea!
After a 30+ year career in animation, Bill decided to dedicate himself to sculpture full time. He attended the sculpture atelier program through Gage Academy of Arts as well as specialized workshops through Anatomy Tools for human and animal anatomy. His main focus for his sculpting at present is African animals, for which he has a great fondness.
All pieces are designed and sculpted by Bill; bronzes are cast and produced locally by Mark Walker in Marysville, WA
Misty Comet – Enchanted Sterling Silver Treasures:
The MISTY COMET is an enchanted traveling world, home to an abundance of shining metals and magical creatures. Occasionally on its elliptical journey through the vast expanse of space, it passes by a small blue planet called Earth.
The creatures of the comet are enamored with Earth and love to visit when the opportunity arises. As they happily drift down to Earth, they bring gleaming treasures from the Comet as mementos of their journey for those lucky enough to meet them!
The brainchild of Taylor; Misty Comet is a sustainable, ethical silver jewelry line inspired by her love of Japanese Harajuku fashion.
All pieces are designed and prototyped by Taylor, all custom pieces are digitally sculpted by Bill; final pieces are cast and produced locally on Bainbridge Island by Alina Korotkina
