I have always been attracted to form and color, and how things can be put together. I first became interested in jewelry when I lived in Singapore and traveled around Asia. I was attracted to the clean, simple lines of Asian design and particularly loved the designs I found in Bali, Indonesia.
As my work has evolved over the years, I have found that I like experimenting with new mediums and techniques. In recent years, I have been playing with precious metal clay (PMC) and particularly like the flexibility of that medium. For color, I like working with enamels — both opaque on copper, and transparent on fine silver.
