Garden art & jewelry

Working primarily with cast off or broken pieces of pottery and dishware, I create handcrafted mosaic garden art designed to enliven any garden setting. Distinctive bird baths, garden mirrors, tables and wall hangings are made primarily with recycled tesserae (tile, pottery, china, glass, and found objects). Once treasured items are reborn as beautiful, functional ornaments for the home and garden. I also design and create the steel and copper bird bath stands.

Each unique outdoor mosaic is hand cut and made in a traditional mortar and grout process and then sealed to ensure a long and productive life. I do not believe in taking short cuts, each step in the process is patiently created and then set aside to wait until it is time for the next step to continue.

I also create unique wearable mosaics in the form of my unique jewelry which has the same timeless feel as my garden art. Created entirely with broken or cracked china dishes, each adornment is a wonderful contrast between the delicate china and the industrial grout which frames each piece.

I enjoy doing custom commissions for clients looking for a special theme or color combination. From kitchen backsplashes to garden walls or a focal piece of garden art I love the challenge of creating the perfect mosaic for that special area.
