Green Bird Jewelry starts with colorful and precious stone beads, which I buy at the Tucson International Gem Shows. I make all of my pieces by hand myself in either my home on Hood Canal in Lilliwaup, Washington, or my studio in Kailua, Hawaii.

Precious metals, including high-quality gold-filled wire and findings and intricate vintage sterling filigree are frequent components; all chosen to best set off the many colorful gems and luminous pearls I use.

I have been making and selling Green Bird Jewelry for twenty years. My participation in art fairs and trade shows has provided personal growth and satisfaction, while my long experience with crafting has given me a wonderful creative fulfillment.

The peace of the forest or garden, the nearness of shining water, and the drama of tropical and mountain skies are inspiration for each of my pieces. My work is my heart.
