Fiber art
Wildflower Weaving came to life from my passion for combining colors and textures using yarn and fiber. My fiber art designs are inspired by the breathtaking beauty of nature found in the Pacific Northwest and the artistic allure of wildflowers.
Wildflower Weaving presents a collection of carefully crafted woven works of art. Each piece is uniquely created using hand selected sustainable sourced yarns, small -batch hand-dyed fibers, fine cashmere and other natural materials. I have a passion for creating wearable art including one-of-a-kind shawls, scarves and ponchos that are soft to the touch, elegantly luxurious and ultra comfortable to wear. I also love to create table runners that bring color, texture and expression to gathering places, as well as wall hangings and tapestries.
I believe in supporting a community of artists and small business owners. Working with other small business owners that produce handmade, and hand dyed yarns helps to promote the on-going creative process that leads to handmade art. As such, I purchase the majority of my art supplies from other artists that produce sustainable materials and one-of-a-kind hand-made and dyed yarns.
