Tiffany is a glass artist who creates both lamp-worked jewelry and kiln-formed glass platters, bowls and vases. She works in her studio here on Bainbridge Island. She has been making glass for over 16 years. She loves to incorporate subtle texture into her pieces through the use of strands of glass, powders and metals. She believes that art should bring joy to everyday life whether it is worn as adornment or used as a serving platter. Each glass piece is carefully crafted to represent the beauty of this island. Just like the water that surrounds us, glass has the ability to reflect and refract light. It is one of the reasons why it endlessly fascinates Tiffany and motivates her to learn and grow as an artist.
