Paula Gill’s contemporary “tiny TILES” ceramic jewelry is inspired by her 20 years as an artisan tilemaker and her lifelong love of printmaking. The fired porcelain pendants and earrings feature bold geometric black and white designs hand printed with original linoleum block designs.

These small black and white porcelain ceramic “tiny TILES” are fired with a clear glaze and finished on the back with clear epoxy resin for a smooth finish. Allergen free niobium ear wires and silver-plated findings are used in fashioning this unique wearable art.

Paula has returned to her printmaking roots in the past several years using techniques from both Japanese and Western relief printmaking traditions: linoleum and woodblock prints that celebrate everyday life, myths, and the beauty of the natural world.
