Playful silver jewelry for grown ups

My newest work combines roller printing textures on sheets of sterling silver and riveting. Avoiding a flat look to my jewelry, I use small sections of sterling tubing in between two elements of each piece to build dimension. Next, I pierce each piece and rivet them together using solid silver rivets. Tapping them gently yet firmly keeps each piece in place. It's like building a small sculpture.

Inspired by a trip to Japan, I also use sterling tubing to create a bamboo look to some of my pieces. Of course, adding pearls just makes them more feminine.
