Egg and I Pottery

Diana has been working with clay for 16 years. During this time she experimented with many types of clay and firing techniques until finding her true voice by working with smooth white porcelain clay and brightly colored glazes. Most of her pots are thrown on the potter's wheel with an emphasis on the perfect balance of thickness and weight for durability and comfort. Each pot is decorated by hand with a brush, squirt bottle and care. Using multiple layers of glaze and underglaze, Diana achieves the most vibrant colors possible.

The functional pots Diana makes are designed for everyday use. The pots are very durable and all glazes used are food safe and lead-free. It is safe to put them in the microwave and dishwasher.

When Diana does find a free moment away from the studio, she likes to recharge her batteries out in nature usually bicycling, kayaking or gardening.

You can find her work locally at Bainbridge Arts and Crafts or by visiting her home studio.
