I am a mixed media artist primarily self-taught. Currently my work is about celebrating and combining mediums. I love beads, fibers, fabric, texture and the process of creating with all of them. I have been doing beadwork for over 30 years. I started making dolls, playing with felt, fibers and creating with gourds about 20 years ago to express the many ideas that reflect my love of creating. To me, making art is about my soul's desire to create beauty so that the pieces I create reflect my innermost being and the music I hear deep within my soul.

The jewelry pieces I create are designed to wake the senses so that each inspired piece is an original, one of a kind, work of art for the wearer and observer to enjoy. The Art Dolls and vessels I create are often a reflection of something working beneath the surface of my consciousness.

Each piece is created intuitively from spirit in a meditative process. During the creative process, I focus on the interplay of colors, shapes and textures and through this journey of exploration an object of art is born. My work involves the mastery of craft and the intuitive process of creation.
