My lifelong Arts background is in painting, drawing, printmaking and calligraphy. However, never completely comfortable with a 2 dimensional surface I found clay the perfect medium. It allows me to create a 3 dimensional surface on which I draw, paint, incise and carve. Each step is solely determined by my skill, ability and creativity. The entire process keeps me energized, inspired and always excited to spend absurdly long hours in my studio. I use durable food safe glazes on all my functional stoneware and porcelain pieces.

My work has always been greatly influenced by the environment in which I live or visit. Surrounded with inspiration I never seem to be at a loss for new designs.

Participating in shows like the Studio Tour is quite enjoyable as it allows me to meet my customers. I hope you enjoy my pottery as much as I enjoy producing it.
